Colloidal Minerals vs. Nano Minerals

Colloids and nanos are measurements in size. A colloid is large enough to see with the naked eye. By shining a lazer through a vessel containing a collodal solution, you would see thousands of tiny beads floating in the liquid. Comparing a colloid to a nano would be like comparing an elephant to a mouse or a basketball to a bb. Millions of bbs could be created from one basketball which greatly increases the number of silver particles in the same amount of space, which increases the frequency in which disease causing micro-organisms are going to come into contact with them.

Adding to this same analogy, if we compared the human cell to a thimble, it is easy to see that you could never fit a basketball inside of it, but you could comfortably fit a number of bb’s inside. Nano particles are small enough to get inside of the human cell allowing FreeMart Silver to kill disease causing microbes inside the cell as well as without.

It is not the size of the silver particle that is important; it is the overall distribution that determines the kill rate of pathogens in the body. The distance between colloids of silver in solution is very great in comparison to the size of micro-organisms.

If you were to put several basketballs (representing colloids of silver) into a swimming pool filled with flesh eating piranhas, it may take a long time to rid your swimming pool of these deadly pests. But if you were to break the colloids down into millions of tiny particles (representing nano particles of silver) you can see how the kill rate would increase dramatically..

Concentration of Silver Particles

Silver solutions are typically measured in parts per million (PPM) using a TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) Meter. Our former silver product measured at two thousand (2,000) TDS, which translates to about 2 PPM. However, because of its tiny nano particle size, it did a fantastic job.

Our new FreeMart PureSilver measures at 200 PPM and has a nano particle size 1/20th of the size of our former silver product. That means that each nano particle in our former product is broken down into 20 smaller particles, and we increased the concentration by 100 times. We then reduced the size of the bottle from 8 oz. down to 2 oz. to economize the cost of shipping to our members. This still translates to getting 25x as much Silver per 2 oz. bottle as we formerly put in an 8 oz. bottle.

Because of the stronger concentration and increased number of particles due to the reduction in size, the end result is a greatly increased number of nano particles spread throughout the bodily fluids, which translates to a faster kill rate of disease causing microbes. Suggested Usage For maintenance – 2-3 times weekly:

We do not add any chemicals or color at all to any of our products; this includes chemical stabilizers. What produces the color in our PureSilver for example is the size of the Silver atoms and the number of Silver atoms that make up the Silver nanoparticles that are suspended in pure pharmaceutical grade water.

White light hits the nanoparticles of Silver in suspension, but not all of the wave lengths are absorbed; the ones that are not absorbed are reflected back as the color one sees. What is absorbed or reflected back is determined by the size of the atom (Gold, Silver, and Copper all have different atomic sizes) and the number of atoms that make up the nanoparticle that is suspended in the water. Smaller nanoparticles of a metal will produce a different color than larger nanoparticles.

Other manufacturers add stabilizing chemicals to their mineral solutions to prevent them from conglomerating together, thus causing a different color because now the nanoparticles are larger. We refuse to add stabilizing chemicals in order to maintain purity.

The tendency for Silver nanoparticles to conglomerate increases as the concentration increases because there are more Silver nanoparticles packed into the same cubic centimeter. In this case 200 ppm has one hundred times more Silver nanoparticles than 2 ppm. The downside of that is the perception that something is wrong if the color changes over time.

The reality is that regardless of the color, the nanoparticles that are suspended in pure pharmaceutical grade water are 100% safe because they are 99.99+% pure to begin with and they are suspended in pure water.

The products that one should be suspicious of are the ones that are too stable and one should ask what chemical has been added to provide this stability. The fact that we do not have a chemical stabilizer in our mineral solutions is evidenced by the fact that it can, and does, change color over time. Nevertheless, it remains 100% safe and effective.
